For Executive Designer Sam Lowings, cycling in the rain with full panniers meant bags within bags for effective waterproofing. This he discovered to his cost on more than one occasion while crossing the vast plains of Siberia on his bike in 2005.

There had to be a solution so, when he returned to the UK after his five-month expedition, he set about designing a bicycle pannier that would meet the requirements of any cyclist.
